Karu totuus: ei kannata tehä tageja jos ei oo inspiraatiota.
no ei sitä inspiraatiota tuu jos ei tee mitää
Quote (EnigmaticPhantasy)
Inspiration is known as the "capricious guest." It's like a very welcome guest that only comes occasionally and is never there when you want it (or need it for that matter). Over time, I learned to push through those times without inspiration and force myself to work on art. As I worked, inspiration just came naturally as if it had never left. I still meet the occasional art slump, but I just move on with life and eventually get out of it.
And about being a perfectionist, I know the feeling, but you should take time to step back and reflect on both the positives and negatives of your work. If you only focus on the negatives, you'll never be content. I looked through your gallery, and what you have so far is very lovely and unique.
If you really want to push inspiration, you need to first relax. If you need sleep, take a nap. I find that I can snatch some good inspiration from those times between sleeping and waking. Many writers write as the sun comes up because their mind is sharp and they still remember those thoughts from between sleeping and waking.
Being in an art slump is never fun, but you will get out of it, just don't let it get you down.
