the cake isn't a lie, you just don't like the flavor  ;)

That is quite true... I dont find D3 endgame anywhere near as appealing as D2.

thats why they are making a pvp aspect into it.. further patchs with new content is likely to come. since Rmah is such a big income for blizzard.. they are making millions on pure rmah cuts.. 15% transfere fee and 1euro when the item is sold.. etc etc...

so to keep that income they will keep making content like they do in wow.. only thing is.. with D3.. that content needs to come faster to keep people playing.. and earning money on Rmah..

Uber is a clear sign of that.. they only made it because the pvp patch was late.. and they had to keep the flow goig with new content..

They are implementing PvP yes... however its not going to be balanced around PvP. It wont be much about skill at all. It will mostly be done to who has the better gear. That will get boring pretty quick once people find out what hero is the most OP.

agreed.. but they are likely to keep making new content to keep the cash flow going on rmah..

so 4-5 months after the pvp patch. new content will come.. im pretty sure of it..

just my two cents tho

When I was playing D2 years ago and the D3 rumours were getting more official I was actually getting excited. Then I completed the game and wondered why. All they have done is added better graphics, removed PvP and introduced an AH. Normally when a new version of a game comes out they up the content making the game last longer. I mean its not hard to level to 60 and complete inferno... a couple of days and ur there. In d2 to get to 99 took significantly longer provided not bots were used.

On a whole I am just really dissapointed... hopefully they will actually be able to add a WOW factor to the game to string out the time needed to actually complete it without it getting boring.

I mean normal is not different to nightmare, hell or inferno... only thing that changes is monster difficulty... so what do the blizzard geniuses do? They add the same content another 10 times.

There's many things you can do. I'm not quite good at writing so I'll just make a list

- Get high paragon lvl
- Get high gear
- Complete game with different characters
- Push your limits with MP
- Prepare yourself for upcoming pvp
- Make money off RMAH

All of this boils down to: Run a 1-4 on different modes OR play the AH. Pretty much just like d2
