This was my old one (I think it was purchased at least 7 years ago?):

-Intel Core i7 4790K Unlocked Quad Core HT
-ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Strix
-Samsung 850 EVO Series
-ASUS Z97-E ATX LGA1150 DDR3
-Fractal Design Define R4 ATX Tower Case Black
-EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 80 Plus Gold Fully 850W
-ASUS DRW-24F1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer Black
-Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
-Corsair Vengeance 16GB Memory
-Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition
-BenQ GL2460HM 24-Inch Screen Monitors x2

New one:

Budget: $1500
More specific use (what games, what programs): Diablo 2 resurrected, overwatch 2, rocket league etc
Planned time until purchase: Within 1 month
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes
Do you have any specific preferred components?: No
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Yes
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: I think stock cooling is fine?
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Would be nice to upgrade my monitors because I don't think they are anywhere near 120/144 hz (once again purchased 7 years ago)
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 53154

Misc notes: So here's the thing - I actually wouldn't mind buying a pre-built (yes I know I would probably save $$ buying individual parts but what I'm really looking for is someone with knowledge on who has the best pre-builds for the $$). If you would like to list the parts you recommend individual that is fine as well because then I can look for pre-builds with the same parts

the thing about prebuilts isnt necessarily just the raw savings gained - it's about upgradeability. most pre-built vendors lock down their shit so tight you can't even change the GPU if you wanted to, or update the bios without their niche software that loses support after two years. and building yourself is not as hard as it's made out to be - you can watch a 20 min youtube video on it and have it dialed in.

either way, reply here when you are within a day or two of wanting to purchase as deals change extremely frequently and that's the best way to get bang for your buck

Thanks for your input. If you had to buy a pre-built with a $1500 budget, what would you get right now?
