I have this monitor set to be delivered any day now, and I'm wanting to mount it on an arm.

https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-45gr95qe-b

Problem is - I cant seem to find a compatible arm to mount it on, possibly because its a new product and untested?

https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/products/product-details/45-475#?color=black&buynow=0

This is what i see people mounting a g9 on, my monitor weighs less than the g9 & my monitor also utilizes the vesa 100x100 mount - does anyone know why it would be listed as incompatible?

why are you thinking that mount is incompatible? looks like all you need is a 100x100 VESA mount that supports 20lb

on mount spec page it says it supports 100x100 and mentions in its tech specs specifically if you need HD mount stuff:
Weight Capacity: 20–42 lbs (9.1–19.1 kg). Note: Display depth > 6" (15 cm) may affect the arm’s weight capacity. For a curved monitor, consider the arc’s depth to determine compatibility. For a display weighing 28–42 lbs (12.7–19.1 kg) with a depth of 6"–12" (15–30 cm), the accessory HX Heavy-Duty Tilt Pivot (98-540-216) is required
To use an HX arm with the ultra-wide, curved Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 Monitor, also order the accessory HX Heavy-Duty Tilt Pivot (98-540-216)

im assuming by 'consider arcs depth' means you should be thinking how far back the monitor can go while being practical and butting into a wall

I dont think it's incompatible, the website tells me it's incompatible and i'm trying to figure out why it's listed as incompatible

My first thought was maybe it's untested but then when i found that they have other items they sell listed as compatible for this monitor it tossed my theory out the window. They list the items in the link below as compatible, all of which are wall mounts,

https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/tools/mount-finder?manufacturerid=1050&modelid=98974

I agree with you, i dont see how it could be listed as incompatible the ONLY thing i can see is technically the monitor weighs less than what the 20 lb minimum listed is as the monitor only weighs 19 lbs

At the end of the day it's not like i'm stuck on this monitor arm or anything, its clearly a high quality arm though and that's ultimately what i'm looking for. I just cant find any that show compatibility.

i emailed them on friday i'm hoping they're gonna get back to me - as a backup plan though, i got a guy on reddit right now who's waiting on delivery of this same monitor. He has this arm and wants to use it so hopefully he follows up with me lol.

In the mean time i will continue my search for a reliable arm.
