Kind of curious of opinions on ssds. I've read that, for gaming, there is almost no difference between older and current gen ssds. If that's the case, I'd prefer the cheaper option, whatever that may be.

also ssd vs. nvme drives, nvme is upwards of 10x faster. it'd be mainly for future proofing, considering they are only marginally more expensive i'd be going nvme every time personally

Oof, it's been about 5 years since I've made one of these lists. Should be corrected now. Thanks for the info on the ssd vs nvme.

That specific gpu seems to have gone up in price around $150 this morning, but 6800xt cards look like they can be had for around $550 when on sale and hopefully for black friday.

yea build looks good bud no complaints from me
for gpu yeah you can wait for a deal, they have sporadic ones in general so if you are willing to hold out to save a hundred bucks or whatever then you can set up price alerts on pcpartpicker as well for components
