Is this okay for this forum?

I'm searching for a solid desk chair. Nothing "gaming" exclusive - I prefer something that doesn't scream "I love Monster Energy drinks".

The only thing is that my desk sits up higher than most. It's about 34" ground to desktop, so I'll need a chair that sits a little higher.

Herman Miller Embody is decent and will do the job. Not the best quality materials though.

Would ideally like to keep this under $500. This chair will not get a ton of use. It'll average out to roughly an hour each day.

Costco had a couple models. Executive lazyboy was like $180? Comfortable, solved my back pains while working from home

This chair is amazing so far.

Had it for 4 years and so far nothing has broken (other than the arms peeling a little bit) and it's still incredibly comfortable after this time. If you aren't very tall you can just use something under your legs to make it comfortable.

Herman miller for sure, literally just wait for a sale if you can and pick one up. Will last longer than we all will
