My question is, Should i just buy prebuilt ?
I can afford a 2000$ prebuilt right now and with all the work i'd have to do it's looking more like the direction id go with.
Now i dont know any good prebuilt sites to use or navigate through (So a opinion on this would be awesome)
But i can update everything listed for said price or buy a prebuilt.

Reason for upgrading:

When i stream any game on my pc with streamlabs obs i have 90% Cpu/Memory Usage and sometimes my streams are pixelated (I have verizon fios so its not a upload speed problem)

Asus ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 - 330$
Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR 8 GB ROG STRIX GAMING OC V2 Video Card 599.99$
Intel Core i9-12900K $579.99
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory $162.99

Upgraded from this

Cpu correction - i7 9700K

Does the $2k include monitor or just tower? If you have a monitor youre going to use, what resolution/refresh is it?

The new parts you listed are awesome for what you're doing with it, I would usually recommend ryzen7, ryzen 9, i7 or i9 for streaming so you might be able to go cheaper/cooler than 12900k but the 12900k would be amazing.

I'm a big fan of the 3060ti value for fast 1080 or cinematic 1440p gaming. If you're wanting 4k or high fps 1440 you might bump that up to a 3080 within budget depending on what the rest of your build looks like

As a builder I really enjoy putting together something interesting that is exactly what I want but for pre-builds I've heard good thing about NZXT. I love their aesthetic (I usually buy NZXT cases or coolers for their look); apparently they have a pretty streamlined pre-build department as well where you're only paying $150-$250 over parts price for assembly and they put it together well. Considering a build can be 5-6 hours all in, that's likely worth your time

I was looking at a cyberpower pc with a ryzen 9 5900x and a GeForce RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6
It comes with no monitor and it sucks because id have to wait for the monitor :/

Im gonna check out nzxt as well, BUT if you think that what i chose would be perfect for what im wanting to run id want to do it this way instead and build off a cheap case i already have and go with a new monitor as well

Also, Since im going from a z390 to a z690 would i have to reinstall windows or can i get away with updating my drivers ?

MSI Optix G27C5 27.0" 1920x1080 165 Hz Monitor

My budget would be around 2200$ max but i can push to 2300$ absolute max

I went MSI optix 1440p/100hz (ultrawide 32") as I generally enjoy more cinematic games than shooters. My only gripe with the optix (may not be true of the one you chose) is low brightness. Amazing monitor at night, kind of a bother playing dark games during daylight with only one main window in my office

If you're set on 1080p, don't go higher than the 3060ti for GPU

3060ti will be fine for 1080

if 1440, then i can justify going 3070

More than likely 1080 because its the quality i stream in as well.

I think im going to go with a cyberpower pc prebuilt, It's around the same cost with better wire management and no hassle to build

Have you tried upgrading your RAM to 32GB since you're streaming? Maybe that would fix some of the issues during your stream?

I can only say from personal experience that upgrading from 16GB to 32GB did help, especially on 1080p @ 60Hz/FPS streaming with XSplit Broadcaster. I currently use 5800X, 32GB and RTX3080. Display is at 1440p @ 144Hz but I run my games at 1080p @ 60+Hz.

Also, make sure your streaming codec is on your CPU and not GPU. Yes this will put the stress on your CPU rather than your GPU. During streaming, my CPU usage goes up to 50-60%. If you have a good enough CPU cooler, perhaps you can overclock your Intel 9700K.

I do think a 5900X or 5950X is overkill for streaming but at least it'll be powerful for the future years. I periodically watch other random streamers and from my personal recollection, these small time streamers are running a Ryzen 5 or Intel i5, and they're at 1080p.
