Isn't the point of DIY PC builds, just buying random stuff and putting them together?

PC parts are made to be "put together", so as long as you do your homework of compatible parts and space constraints.

X570 chipset is the best chipset for AMD. If you consider X570S separate from X570, then X570S would/could be the best.

Given the current GPU stock/availability, nothing wrong with a 6900XT. It is also the upper end of the available Radeon GPUs out there.

To answer your question of whether or not it is well built - yes, I think it is.

As for random stuff and "putted" together - that's the point of making your own PC, especially to fit within the budget.

I'd rock it. It will last you at least another 10 years prolly before the performance drops compared to the technology available then. Especially if its built based on the budget then go for it.

I see 3 monitors though for 1 GPU. Not saying it wont work, but it can cause strain on the hardware reducing the life of the card. Get a super budget secondary GPU and put the non primary monitors to that GPU.

You could also get cheaper monitors good brands/reviews that have 1 MS and 144HZ. If youre investing that much into a monitor get a 240HZ or at least a 180HZ for that price assuming this is for gaming.

I'd also look up how much watts your tower is going to need and if the supply is going to work. Ive always been a fan of building PC's to run the loads at 40% or less of whatever the power supply max output it. anything higher than 50% load is going to cause more heat and reduce the life of the power supply by straining the rails.

Go to PCpartpicker.com and you can see everthing compatible and power consumption etc.

Overall - It will work and it will last the next 10 years prolly before you have to start replacing parts. If all of it survives and its just low tech parts then, it would only be the motherboard, GPU and CPU at worse. Everythign else should carry over. PS - Failing power supplies can cause surges or excess electrical discharge and possibly fry your equipment. Call me paranoid haha.

thats a thing? i thought that makes it crossfire then it only works off your weakest gpu ??

heres a thread that supports this. There are also guides to disable crossfire or SLI to manually configure it .

get a super cheap GPU to run spare luxurious monitors while the expensive one does all the top performance you require / solo monitor.

if you really want to budget it, you could just connect all the spare monitors to the motherboard. use the DVI/VGA or HDMI ports on the motherboard and designate the gaming monitor for the actual GPU. I'd prefer the 2nd GPU though as they usually have fans or a way to disburse more heat.
