Recently got this computer from a friend
Was wondering if there is any upgrades that are kinda a must for it?
Not really looking to spend too much on it but I heard pre build's tend to have a shitty power supply and to swap them out with a better one?
All help is appreciated <3

Honestly this looks like a decent build. I wouldn't worry about the power supply unless you're looking at overclocking or the PSU is loud (an 850w gold will use the fan less). Keep in mind that HP might have a custom shape/size PSU so it may not be easy to swap

If you store a lot of games, the only upgrade I would recommend would be a larger M2 SSD as 256gb will be swallowed up quickly and I personally don't like storing games on a HDD.

Yeah I agree, replace that SSD with a 1 or 2 tb and you'll be set for a while

No problem!

Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions

You'll want to install windows on your new SSD so make sure to write down the windows key. A fresh windows install should recognize that your components are the same and allow the same product key

You shouldn't need the key, as long as you don't swap out the motherboard I will automatically pick it up. I agree to make sure you install windows on the SSD as well, and either disconnect the HDD or just use it for random storage imo
