It's been around 9-10 years since I built my computer - at the time it was a beast but it is time for a new one.

Here are the parts I've assembled but wanting a couple opinions to see if I've messed anything up. Thanks for the help.

What will you be using it for? (Games/programs)

What monitor? (Resolution, refresh rate)

This is looking like a great build but you might be able to make some cuts and save some money depending on what you'll be using it for

Thanks for the response - I'm going to be mainly using it for gaming (I'm up for any and all games) - I use a 3 monitor setup with 2 dell 27inch i think (60 refresh) and an acer 24inch

When I built my computer 10 years ago it was around 1200ish which at the time was pretty pricy for me but having it last nearly 10 years gave me some confidence to get some good parts and hopefully it will last a long time (probably not 10 years but I can hope). I've just haven't built one in so long I was wanting to make sure I had all the required parts/etc (for example I didn't know all comps needed cooling units now). I'm sure these build sites won't let you buy things that aren't compatible but I thought it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more eyes on it.

The only place I could see cutting back is from 64gb ram but I'm wanting to run multiclient D2R ladder (if it ever comes) so I do need that even though it looks like overkill.

I apparently don't know how to use this site. Sorry for double post.

I would've trimmed back on CPU and RAM but now that you've mentioned you plan on multiboxing, keep both!

Honestly this looks amazing. If the price difference isn't much I might bump you up into a 3080 over a 3070ti as you've mentioned longevity but it won't be a major difference. I just think the 3080 is a great sweet spot for price: performance.

Lastly if you have any money leftover and your monitors are a bit older, upgrade one of them. Your new PC will comfortably power a 1440p 144hz monitor and they're getting a lot more affordable. Might seem less important but you'll never regret it
