I live in Toronto, Canada :)
My budget is.. $1600-$1700
I'd like RTX 3060 and 16GB RAM
Of course I will play d2r but I'd like to run some high-end graphic games too

Current candidates:

https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali489/p/N82E16883360084?Item=N82E16883360084

sold out, sadly :(

https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali564/p/N82E16883360194?Item=N82E16883360194

seems similar to first one, but costs $100 more :o not sure why (maybe better mouse and keyboards)

https://www.newegg.ca/hp-tg01-2360-pavilion/p/N82E16883450882?Item=N82E16883450882

good price but case looks bad for cooling and 400w PSU feels weak

I am thinking second or third one. (well, first one is sold out anyway  )

Please let me know what you guys think.

Or if you know any good pre-built pcs, please leave a link.

Thanks for the help!

Given these options, I would consider the third one a better deal. I build PCs and wanted to see what something similar would cost me to build. At this budget range, the prebuilt is hitting numbers I couldn't compete with.

Don't worry too much about cooling or PSU on this one. All these parts are pretty optimized for wattage and cooling and it shouldn't throttle. Open it up and air dust is every 6 months and it will plug along nicely for a while.

Given that it's HP, I would recommend you reinstall windows when you get it to shed any bloatware HP stuck to it

You will likely be limited for upgradability going with the HP as they like to densely pack in components and use proprietary guts; but you should have room to shove a sata SSD in later when you need more storage.

Lastly, I usually push people up to 3060ti if they're considering a 3060. This is because typically the price: performance ratio is skewed in favor of the 3060ti. This may not be true in the prebuilt market as 3060s are probably discounted for manufacturers but it might be worth considering if you're interested in 1440 gaming. Feel free to post or PM if you find something else to consider. Also always happy to field questions to the best of my knowledge

Found a 3060ti build close to what you're looking at

https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali568/p/N82E16883360198

So between the HP (your option #3) and this one: this one has a better GPU and upgradability in its favor, albeit for a worse price-point

The HP has a better price point and CPU (handy for multitasking, video editing, streaming) at the cost of upgradability.

I think I would still recommend the HP but this gives you another option to weigh.

You could also add information for better help. What resolution monitor? When you say better graphics games are they high-speed shooters or more cinematic? Any streaming or video editing on your PC?

I think he already purchased a pre-built but interesting recommendation

I have a love/hate relationship with nzxt because some things they do exceptionally well (who can deny their aesthetically pleasing parts design?). However, they're a bit toxic as a company in that they don't seem to play well with others (software/hardware incompatibilities).

Have you ordered one of their pre-builts? What was your experience?

My experience was good. Fast shipping. Got exactly what I ordered and it was cheaper to just buy one from them instead of building one myself. GPU prices are just insane. I built the three previous rigs I’ve had, before the gpu market went to ass. I did the math and actually saved over $600. Mine came with an 11th gen i5, rtx 3070, kraken aio, 1tb m2 ssd, 850w seasonic, 16gb 3200mhz ram, windows 10 installed, etc. Paid just over $2k with shipping. The GPU I have was selling for over $1100 on most websites by itself. Some places had that thing listed for $1500+
