Hi guys,

looking at making the switch from gaming laptop to a gaming desktop.

I am pretty hardware/software illiterate so I don't really know much at all, from what ive read GPU's are extremely hard to get and are generally OP for builds so is it worth just going for a pre built? My budget is around 2.5k AUD, here are a couple prebuilt companies ive read are okay but have no idea if theyre crazy OP etc.

https://techfast.com.au/products/AMD-Ryzen-5-3600-RTX-3070-Ti-8GB-Gaming-PC-June?sort=p.price&order=ASC

https://www.aftershockpc.com.au/gaming/desktops (Heard these guys are decent but kinda expensive)

https://www.mwave.com.au/product/respawn-ninja-mini-might-gaming-pc-rtx-3060-ti-ac47372

I plan on playing newer games on high settings with good frames etc, I would like to stream at the same time for example stream d2r/LoL or any new games that will be coming out. If this is impossible for this budget let me know!

Any help or assistance would be super appreciated, if someone feels like sourcing a build that i could do I'm happy to tip fg etc. (I've never built my own computer but it kinda looks fun, just a little hesitant where to source parts and if with the rarity of GPUs will make it difficult)

I built my whole computer through Umart man (Australian too) had the parts within afew days.

Also I'd always say if you have the skills to build your own do it, pre-builts are done with less care and attention to detail, when you do it yourself you know it's done right, and with care and respect.

Ask away with any questions, I'd be happy to help, I love building pcs, I'll upload a picture of mine.

Ignore the little arrows to the sides of the images, just screenshotted off my insta cause I didn't have any fresh ones on the phone.
