Any strategies on getting my hands
on a 3070 ti or 3080 that anyone knows about?


Only way I’m aware of is Newegg shuffle.

Insane that it’s been so long and these things aren’t more available.

Yeah i don’t mind a little markup but I’m seeing like 2.5-3x retail which is insane.

The Newegg shuffle is a lottery drawing for sure but at least the prices aren’t 2.5x retail.

I expect to pay a premium for it but I guess I wasnt super clear with what I meant. My expectation when searching for a GPU was paying 900 for a 3070 ti TBH but seems like that won't happen.


Newegg has a literal lottery you can enter to get a 3070 ti at true retail (599.99).


Other then that they have scalper prices yes. But i was pointing out that they do sell cards at true retail. Not that I was expecting to get one for 599.99.



Buddy got a RTX 3080 at true retail from Best Buy last week after waiting 2 months. There's a program Best Buy offers to get on a waiting list for computer parts which includes GPU's so I may just do that. Wanted to try and avoid spending 200 bucks to enter the program though.
