Hello, ive never posted in this forum before but seems a good place for this

Im not sure wether to upgrade my PC by repacing parts or to buy a new one

I recently bought a 1tb SSD and a 8gb RAM which helped to speed up loading times but definately didnt help with graphics loading
I mostly use my PC to game
Recent games: D2R, New World.
I also like to replay games like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Fallout4, TESO, Path of Exile and RPG Open World games

My nowhere-near-good- knowledge of pc building tells me i need to definately change GPU and CPU which are the most costly parts, so im wondering if its worth changing certain parts or im just better by buying a whole new pc with low storage to add my already owned 1tb ssd

Here's my specs, let me know if u need more info and if possible where can i find such info

Thanks in advance!

I just did the same upgrade for D2R lol it was lagging and freezing up so I got an SSD and upgraded my ram to 16gb

After the improvement of the SSD your biggest bottleneck is RAM. My PC also uses integrated graphics which is meh, you want a dedicated graphics card for gaming hands down.
I'd suggest since your MOBO is only capable of gen4 processors and they're on 11th or higher now, you probably want to get a better processor and a dedicated video card. Which pretty much means new MOBO/CPU and GPU so yeah, pretty much time for a new PC.

16gb of ram is usually enough but if you want to run flawlessly with 2-3 or more monitors and game while watching hulu, running antivirus in the background, discord, maybe you're streaming, you will want a bit more.

You can find some good, affordable pre-builts at exoticpc and then customize to your liking to enhance certain aspects or take it as-is.

For GPU I recommend something with no less than 4GB VRAM and if you can afford it, go higher. You don't have to get a 3090 or anything to have decent performance but maybe go higher than 4gb if you want to do streaming and multitask or run several monitors.

Good luck on your PC quest! I'm personally saving up to get a nice laptop.

Thanks a lot for the reply, yeah i honestly was thinking the same, time for a new pc, wantd to save some money but wont be possible except for the 1tb ssd

i was checking gpu and cpu prices yesterday and theyre really high, i live in mexico which makes it even more expensive due to conversion to mexican pesos and import fee's included in thee price

i want to spend around 1k usd and these are my gpu options so far

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER ASUS Phoenix 6GB GDDR6 = 505usd
https://tinyurl.com/1660super1

i think id have enough with the 1660super BUT it only has 1 fan, looks smaller
Does it affect performance somehow?

My other option is this 2060 but its more expensive, probably if i pay monthly, price wouldnt be a problem, but is it worth it?
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 ZOTAC 6GB = 749usd

Do you have any other recommendation? the 30 series is a bit too much for my budget
