I bought a evga black 2080ti last night threw it my pc and ran great on warzone. I woke up this morning to run a few games and now I’m not getting hdmi or display port signal looking for help to fix this my specs are

16 gb 3200 Corsair rgb ram
Msi mpg x570 mobo
1tb sdd
1tb hdd
650w psu

And my monitor is an asus vg248qg

Any help would be appreciated this I’ve tried so far is switch out the display cord with another display cord I’ve tried reseating the gpu I’ve try and old monitor with and hdmi cord and still nothing. The card has the rgb on and the fans are spinning I just don’t understand what could be wrong if it worked last night.

recommended psu is 800w for a 2080ti. 650 meets the minimum but i don't think thats enough. have you taken the 2080ti out and see if ur computer still works without it do you have another gpu to test? also try uninstalling the driver and see if it will boot up with no video driver installed.

Hey Mate,

for Troubleshooting go down this route:
1.) Switch out the GPU to a low end one, preferably the old one. Just to check whether its a GPU Issue.

if this still gives you a black screen, my previous poster named the next part:

2.) PSU. Busting a myth there, it doesn’t really matter what Number is printed on the PSU. I’m Rocking a GTX3080 with a 650W Seasonic Prime PSU (94%+) works like a charm. But a no name PSU can crap out pretty quickly after getting this kind of load. And due to many crappy 650W PSUs out there the GPU Manufacturer goes the safe route with huge PSU recommendations. Cant blame them, they get the claims when the 650W China-PSU is blowing up...

So switching the PSU is your best option to get this PC back. Best case for troubleshoot would be having a PSU and GPU at hand to switch both and then try the 2080 with the "good" PSU.

3.) If your PC won’t turn on after you got a low GPU and a working PSU you need to check your Mainboard. (Which you can visually do right now, any blown condensers or other shit? and "burn marks", does anything smell?) But PSU would be my bet, most likely with you config, your old PSU just died.

If you are getting a new PSU, go for a brand, at least 80+ Gold. If you can afford this kind of GPU you should NEVER SAVE on a good PSU as well. Its like buying a Lambo but getting your gas from Joes Handmade Fuel Store..

The 2080 Ti need about 280W if used fully. So no need for an big ass 800W PSU. If your 650W is able to transform at 89%+ you get about 550W for your System. (Which even beats an 800W with 68% aka no cert.) With a TDP of 105 for the Ryzen and generous 50W for the Rest. You still have 400W for your GPU. Which is plenty for a single 2080TI. And, PSA here: if the PSU in Question doesn’t even give you an efficiency amount, assume its e-waste.

Hope i could help here.
