Budget: 3,500 maybe 4,000
More specific use (what games, what programs): rust, battlefield, over watch, cod
Planned time until purchase: next week
Do you need an Operating System?: yes
Do you have any specific preferred components?:intel nvidia
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:wireless
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:no
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: monitor only but don’t consider that on the budget I can spend around 300-400 in a monitor, need 1 only not dual
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):Mexico but I can purchase from USA, amazon or newegg or w/e

I’ll like a custom watercooling Pc, I have a friend that will help me build it
Don’t have a preferred color theme but kind of like RGB stuff

CPU - Intel i7 10700K (~$350 USD)
Motherboard - Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Pro AX (~$300 USD)
CPU cooler - CoolerMaster ML360R (~$150 USD)
Case - Fractal Design Meshify 2 Light Tempered (~$140 USD)
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz C16 8GB (2x) (~$90 USD)
Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB (~$200 USD)
GPU - RTX 3080 (~$1000 USD)

Because you're around $2500 USD with this build, you can choose
1) a better motherboard (just more slots and features but nothing to do with performance)
2) a better GPU such as RTX 3090
3) unnecessarily more RAM to 32GB
4) a better CPU like Intel's newest 11th generation (11XXXK series)

Most folks are re-using their old GPU until stock is back to normal. I, myself, am waiting on a RTX 3080, while my desktop is all brand new.

AMD Ryzen 5800X
Gigabyte Aorus X570 Ultra
Corsair 3600MHz C18 --> waiting for an upgrade
Noctua NH-D15
GTX 1060 --> waiting for an upgrade

With crypto mining hype and over-demand, it is recommended to wait it out. Unless there are gpu intensive games you really look forward to play.

If Nvidia is really sourcing wafers from TSMC, I'd say the shortage will last until at least the end of the year.

There will be supply here and thre but you would have to be lucky to get them.

i hustled a little bit to offset additional costs on gpu. and what started as rebuild ended up in basically new build re using only a few fans and ram

here is my build its mostly white / RGB heavy not for everyone

i think in reality you dont need to spend anywhere near 4k if you dont want too. 2k-2500 tackled a pretty fancy and high performance build for me. unless your just wanting the very best like 5950x and 3090.. thats the only place i could see you spending that last thousand dollars

i got my ryzen 9 5900x for 600$ and my 3060 strix ti for 1000$ (scalped prices but i made up nice for it trading some of my old parts and my 1660 i upgraded from)

even then with all rgb white bells and whistles i think i maybe have 3.5k invested
