Description: Streaming / Gaming / dabble in some Unreal Engine as hobbyist devoloper
Budget: 4k MAX, closer to 3k will make me happier
More specific use (what games, what programs): Gaming, 1440p 165hz monitor, Streaming
Planned time until purchase: ASAP
Do you need an Operating System?: Win 10, been runnign an unregistered copy for a long time so do I really need one?
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Intel / Nvidia
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: No need for sound card, WiFi is just a plus
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: If an AIO cooler is comparable price, I'll consider OC, if not then decent air cooler is fine
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No peripherals needed
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 26034

I plan on using my 1080Ti GPU until I can get my hands on a 3090 for close to MSRP.
I have a case to do my build in, just need another cheapish case to put my current build in for my wife.

We will need to know make/model of the case you have and your wife's current motherboard and CPU cooler.

The problem is, that for us to make a build for you, especially one with an AIO cooler, we need to know the possible mounts for the cooler's radiator.
It might be simpler to just give her your case also, and let us grab you a new case.

Can you give me an opinion for this build?
and what case to go with it?

For the vid card...wait for the right price. For Win 10 Pro 64 bit, you can get a key on ebay for like 5-$10, and get the ISO from Microsoft.

Is this motherboard a must?
Wasnt sure if there was any room to maybe go down a model and get most of the same features.

I already went down two models...

If you're trying to save money I'd probably go down to a RTX 3070. Sold out at the moment.

Besides downgrading your GPU to save costs, you can also
1) Eliminate the secondary storage (Samsung 860 Pro)
2) Downgrade your main storage to Samsung 970
3) Downgrade your motherboard to a mini-ITX or a micro-ATX size
4) Downgrade your motherboard to not have built in WiFi

it wasnt really the cost iw as worried about, just wanted to make sure he wasnt just throwing super high end components for no reason.
