I7-10700k - $320 USD (8 cores)
I9-10850k - $320 USD (10 cores) - Microcenter having a sale. I live around 45mins away... I could go pick it up

What's more worth?
The I9-10850k seems really good deal.. but I would have to go on a trip..

Ok, so after contemplating for 2hrs.. decided to go with the i9-10850k for $320. It's just too good of a deal. Especially since Rocket Lake 11700k benchmarks are already out and they are shittier than 10700k...
I cancelled my 5600x order from amazon.
10 cores is 10 cores... I want to use this cpu for years to come.
My current PC was built back in 2012, and my i5-4670k lasted me good 9yrs, hoping the i9-10850k will do the same.

What's there to think about? You made the right choice
