Not sure about Canada but in the us it’s a terrible time to build a pc.Last gen Gpus are selling for more now then they were when they were released lol. Same with ryzen CPUs. It’s probably better to go intel now with the sales. The games he plays don’t require much though. Not sure what sales are on atm let me check.

something like this should run all his games but if he can i'd recommend him wait til january for stock to get better. 3060ti should come out by then and you get way more for your money also will last longer.

not sure if these sales are in canada but this is at 1001$
i cant find any gpu thats not way overpriced really wouldnt recommend building atm higher end gpu are 100$+ over their original msrp... lol a 5700xt is 500$+ same price as new gen gpu its nuts
unless you can snipe a 3070 it will take a couple hours but join a discord room with bot notify and hope to get one. you have about 3 seconds to add to cart and checkout before its sold out. took me about 8 hours before i got one
make sure all info/shipping is saved and use paypal or apple pay

i just checked ryzen 3600 cheapest is 296$ lmao wtf this was like 160$ earlier this year holy shit
they doing huge drops on newegg atm just got a 5900x saw some 3070s also

You could buy some parts now that are on sale but if anything is doa you might not be able to return it if you build it later and you’re past the return date. I’d buy a case/ssd/cooler now since there are some really good deals. Buy a mobo/psu/cpu off Amazon since you got extended returns. Then buy a 3060ti/3070/5700xt which should be coming out in a couple weeks.

I would agree with this. Wait until after the new year. It's not just gpu. Ram will be ddr5 soon and will speed up the industry like crazy.

Waiting doesn't get him a cheaper pc.
If your waiting its to increase your budget.

if he's serious about a build now just pm me.
