Hey guys, I would like to upgrade the SSD of my Acer Predator Helios 300 (i7 9th gen, GTX 1660Ti, dual SSD slot support + HDD slot)

I was looking at some SSD's and found: Samsung SSD Interne 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 (500 Go)

I wanted to know if this is a good SSD upgrade for my PC? How can I know if they are compatible?

Thanks!

yea what i said sounded dumb i meant if one had more storage then get it. but its really unlikely their probably almost always similar price

/e just go evo it's the best but crucial is still good

Do you know what the motherboard model is? How many m.2 slots does it have? Is the current SSD already occupying a m.2 slot or is it a SATA SSD?

970 Evo is not a bad choice but it is also more expensive than most drives. What kind of capacity are you looking for?

That doesn't really list anything important. I guess it's a laptop? If you are willing to replace or add storage then that means you williing to open it up? If it says dual SSD slot + one hdd slot support then I'm guessing the current SSD is a 2.5 inch sata drive. I'm not too famiiliar with laptop motherboards but I believe most current ones do have m.2 slots.
So you can probably keep the current drive and just add a m.2 drive. What kind of capacity are you looking for? 500GB? 1TB? Maybe 2TB? If you do decide to get a m.2 nvme drive (they are more expensive than SATA SSDS but way faster) then you will probably have to buy m.2 screws and standoff. I can give you suggestions on what drive to get depending on your needs and what form factor you are looking for.
