I havent been doing much gaming in the past few years aside from League so I hadnt felt the need to update my PC until downloading Warzone and being surprised by the fact that I sometimes max out the CPU and freeze for a few seconds every game. I dont want to spend the money to build a brand new setup but I started wondering if a new motherboard and processor would be worth it to at least get me up to par for Warzone. I know my graphics card isnt great but usually it holds about 60 fps at 1080P so I feel like I can live with it for now. What do you guys recommend? Is it worth trying to update just the CPU for now or will I need new RAM and a GPU too?

Here is what I have currently:
MSI MS-7758 Motherboard
Intel i5-3570k @ 3.4GHz
Radeon RX 570 Series
16 GB of RAM
750 W power supply

I was hoping I would be able to get a new motherboard and CPU for $300-$400 that would be a significant step up from what I have now.

You shouldnt have problem running warzone with that build
You sure its not simply thermal throttling ?

I dont know much about what the would entail but it looks like im maxing at about 50°C when my CPU is hitting high 90%-100% usage. Is that too high of a temp?

Temp is fine, usage isn't.

Recommended Specs:
If you want to run the game at 60fps (or close to) with settings at Medium, here’s what you’ll need:

Requires DirectX 12 compatible system
OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1660 or Radeon R9 390/ AMD RX 580
RAM: 12GB RAM
HDD: 175GB HD space

So assuming you have it running at med or high its dumping the extra load onto the cpu.
I'd Buy a new gpu first and then proceed to Overclock your CPU, if you still struggle invest
into a new mobo/cpu/ram.

You can also refer to this as he's using a 560 but with a better cpu, even still he has it all pretty low.
