I'm not sure if this is still the case, but does AMD still prefer 2 RAM slots over 4? I know the faster the RAM the better.

I'm building a Mini Itx pc specifically so that I may use the same computer at work and at home, and although I do mostly game at home, my job revolves around drones, and their footage, so rendering is my main priority.

I NEED to have 64GB of RAM. And obviously, in a Mini Itx, that's going to be 2x 32GB sticks. So I guess my only real question is, are 2x32 still better than 4x16 in AMD setups? And if not, what kind of performance difference am I looking at?

If anyone wants to dig up some specific graphs on optimal RAM specs for 3950x that would be awesome too... :P

Its not an AMD thing, 2 > 4 for OC purposes as its less voltage going to ram and reserved for cpu but this only applies to low/mid end boards or stupid insane oc's.
