Need help building my first desktop. Heard there is a lot of new technology coming out with the graphic card updates and processor? Did a bit of research.

Basically want a solid computer not cheap or over the top. Middle of the pack.

Want to play cod and other new games. Switching from console to pc.

If someone could list the parts I need to go buy that would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know the parts. Based on my research sounds like should be waiting for 3070 as it has good performance and affordable.

Also found that AMD is releasing new processors on nov5, should I be getting one of these or will last years models go on sale now?

Budget is roughly 1500 not a set budget though there is definite flexibility.

After my research this is what I’ve come up with. Can someone verify this is a good set up and will work?? Not bottle necking or whatever the term is.... the 3080 I added to the build will be replaced with the 3070 once released.

Referring to the monitor? Is there any 240hz 4k monitors??

Here is a basic build, all you have to do is add the 3070. Maybe add a few extra fans for an additional 30$
