This is my build
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/neekzisonfire/saved/r33Gqs

I am currently playing black desert online, and am monitoring my temps on my nzxt kraken pump thing. it was telling me that I'm hitting up to 83 degrees on my gpu.
That worried me so I went into the CAM software and changed the radiator fans to performance mode based on GPU temps to increase airflow as best I can.
That did not help much. So I even tried removing my PSU and reinstalling it upside down, (I didn't know if it was somehow fighting my GPU for air. the H510 is a pathetically small case...) and that did not help much.
The moment I removed the tempered glass side panel the GPU dropped down to 78-79 degrees. Clearly the case is the problem, but I have no idea how I can increase my airfllow. Anyone have any advice for me?

I have the H710, granted its their bigger case, but I never had issues with heat like that. The H510 is a pretty popular case, are you sure your fans are installed the right way?

Also, your part list is private

Add better fans, add a fan curve to gpu, lift it off the carpet if on carpet.

-I am using Corsair LL120 case fans on the top and rear of the case
-I haven't tried messing with gpu fans, might need to watch a youtube video on that or something
-It's on my wood table

I think I may have solved the problem. I'm fkin stupid lol, I assumed I did not have enough clearance in the first PCIe slot because of my ram, so I plugged it in on the second slot close to the bottom where the psu is.
Turns out I had more than enough room to plug it in without interfering with the ram, so now my video card has more room to breathe. Going to run benchmarks in a few mins, sorry for this silly thread lol

ok MUCH better.. lol what a stupid blunder
sorry for wasting your time everyone
lesson: dont plug GPU into a pcie slot that is half an inch from the bottom of your case. give it room to blow that hot air out :D

Glad it’s better. Still seems high. Tho I don’t remember what temps are normal since I have my cpu and gpu both aio cooled. So it never gets higher than 40c
