The led error light is on next to where it says Dram on my ASUS mobo and the bios won’t post. Any ideas what it could be?

umm yeah the system needs ram inserted and working correctly.

Dram error led off now, but still won’t boot. Getting nothing on my monitor and now my cpu cooler won’t come on.

continue to check ram, start 1 stick in each slot till it posts then keep readding ill stable.

If you still can't get a post, clear cmos and try again.

After that I'd request you post the full specs and how you ran into this issue.
like is this a new build that won't post or was working yesterday till you did X.
was it like that in morning etc.

Ok did that with one and nothing worked in any slot. I took the other one and the second slot I tried a bunch of different things started happening. Dram lit up then vga lit up and then cpu lit up. Now it’s just vga and boot lit.

New build and it didn’t post

reinsert gpu and lmk if gpu light goes away
also verify its pci power cables are attached as well if applicable.

If not proceed to wiping bios and on reassembly start with bare min/ cpu/mobo/ram(1 stick)/ gpu if no onboard video.
