havent paid any attention to pc tech in years. just need an experienced builder to make sure i didnt fuck something up

You should probably switch to a smaller cooler ( like an AIO cooler), or a bigger (wider) case. With the Noctua fans set up like they should be, the cooler will be 5mm bigger than the case is, wide.
