I’ve done this a few times now and felt I wasted some people’s time. I apologize. Original budget was $750 total so, I decided to start slowly ordering things and researching current builds. I know how to build a PC but, haven’t done so in almost a decade. I made a few orders for parts and my budget grew over time. I have the AIO, CPU, RAM, MOBO, and a SSD mVNE 2.0 -I know I made mistakes but, I can’t return anything at this point. I just want to build a solid rig now. I’ve been piecing this together for too long and I’m lost on remaining parts. I now have the $1000 left to spend and I will be ordering as soon as a build makes sense. Preferably in the next 12 hours.

Parts I currently have: Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, aSRock B570m PRO4 (micro ATX, it was a mistake to get this but, I’ve got it), 1x 512GB XPG RGB SSD (don’t need more storage), 32gb (2x 16gb) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM, and a Corsair H100i AIO.

Budget: $1000
More specific use (what games, what programs): using this as a PS4 replacement. I exclusively play Fortnite but, interested in maybe some cod however it won’t be competitive . Goal here is high FPS (240+ if possible on 1080 with the parts I have.
Planned time until purchase: today/tomo
Do you need an Operating System?: no
Do you have any specific preferred components?: see above for parts I already have.
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no WiFi but, yes if I need a sound card?
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: MILD overclocking but, not until I see how this B570m pro4 does
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 93104

NOTE: it’s essentially a console replacement for competitive Fort and an HTPC - bonus points for being able to utilize my 65” Samsung curved tv but, totally unnecessary.

Editing now didn’t mean to post

Aye it’s fine, honestly it’ll be a time before I care. I just want what I think will be an uber fluid feeling of uber high FPS?

Shit just changed tho - the micro MoBo order refund was accepted.

I have now ordered an MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX ATX MOBO

That’s fair to say, I’ve heard that. I just want to be sure I’m not wanting for anything. I think I’m leaning in the Same direction as you but, the building in Fortnite on 240 vs 120 feels different. Fact, 120+ feels amazing and 240 feels amazing - it’s just different. No noticeable advantage. HOWEVER, I didn’t want to get used to 120 and then try 240 and have to upgrade. I talked to a buddy and he said “bruh 150 is doable for half your budget, just buy the rig you can and make your goal ‘higher than 120’ — hell dude, save some money, why not?”

I’m with you and him. I’m open to sub 240, just want high frames
