Will toss 100fg to whatever build we go with or most helpful once bought.

My friend is finally building a new computer after 8 years. I've been trying to throw something together inbetween work but it has been exhausting and I feel horrible skimping on things with little research.

My current partpicker is too embarrassing to post so hoping yall can help me out. I was trying to start with a base of a 2070 super and a i7-9700k in this budget and work from there however I am surrendering to any thought at this point.

Thanks in advance.

/e Yeah, I know, it's $1500. Well the prices just went up on a ton of computer parts.

Arthur's build is solid. Should be able to replace anything in there with something similar and be ok.

Its fine, let him spend money. Dudes wasting time so stock is just getting lower all around soon his 1k rig will be 2k.
Everything was in stock when build was posted. Even when I checked afterwards most things were in stock just on another site for 5-10$ more.

/edit
LOL only thing out of stock at the time of this edit is the PSU.

If you feel you have the patience you could try using best buys price match guarantee and pit them against microcenter's prices to save 100 bucks I know the cpu is 30 bucks cheaper at microcenter.

If you have a micro center near you you could use this build and still have budget to play and adjust
