Budget: 2k USD
More specific use (what games, what programs): Games/Streaming
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?: Not included in cost (no)
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Doesn't matter, would prefer not to.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no peripherals needed
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 21060

I have peripherals and backup drives for extra storage, am thinking of a solid new NVME drive and utilize current drives as backups.

My rig is almost 10 years old, have upgraded a drive and have bought a new GPU (1080), all the rest is the same old, a nice 3570k and some relics. :) I've learned drives don't really die but GPU's do lol.

Haven't studied the current market as to which to go for (i.e. intel/amd) but I also know RAM is far overhyped so 16gb is enough, unless 2k is enough to handle 32gb without too much constraints on other elements to the build.

Basically need the CPU/GPU/Mobo/Ram/NMVE Drive/Case/PSU.

Other than that, educate me on current trends, AMD/Intel and why? :)

p.s. stay safe from all the b.s. going on

Then add in your storage drive and your 1080 gpu.
Or sell your gpu and get a 2080 ti with the difference.
