Hello, my brother is building a new computer and looking to order parts today/tmmrw. Looking for any input on part list we put together.

Budget: 2500 ish CAD
More specific use (what games, what programs): Streaming/gaming. Fortnite, Dead by daylight, assassins creed, GTA, newer games
Planned time until purchase: Today or tmmrw
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes, but kinguin??
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Nope. He does like intel more. thoughts on I7 9700k?
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: potential overclock in future
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: in the build. mpuse/headset
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Calgary AB, Canada

Only thing I would change is to get the 3700X (65w) rather than the 2700X.(105w). Other than that... looks good.

Don't worry about the warning about BIOS update, because that motherboard you picked can do this...

I changed mouse cause razer is shit.
Half the ram cause no one NEEDS 32gb for gaming.
Changed SSD to a good brand with dbl size but not over priced.
Changed PSU to more watts and cheaper.
Changed mobo so no bios issues.
Changed from 2070s to 2080s making it BETTER for gaming
Removed cooler, if you over clock later buy one the stock cooler is good enough for minor overclocks as is.
Rest is fine, can't speak for headset though.

*If I was you though Id scrape together another 200$ and get a 2k 144hz ips panel.
Otherwise stick with 1080p if that's just not feasible.
