Well after Half life announcement, I feel like this will be the defining game for the industry so i guess its as good as time as any to jump into VR now.

If possible i would prefer just upgrading my PC over building a new one.

Description: I will use this almost exclusively for gaming, + VR

Budget: Less than 500 if possible.

More specific use (what games, what programs): Half life Alyx + games like World of Warcraft / Diablo 4 / Path of exile 2 ETC

Planned time until purchase: Before March 2020

Current Specs: I5-9600k / 16gigs Ram / GTX 1070

You really don't need to upgrade, but you could purchase a 2070 if you really wanted to.

yeah I know i SHOULD wait until launch before grabbing a VR system, i just get hyped sometimes; and VR has something ive been interested in trying out for awhile now.
