Hello, I'm looking for advice on the best compatible SSD upgrade for the laptop I just got. I don't know a lot about computers, but I know 8gb of ram isn't very much. Thanks for any advice!

so the largest fastest m.2 you can afford.

Laptops aren’t as easy to work on. If you haven’t done it before, I’d get someone who has to show you how.

Are you trying to upgrade your storage or RAM?

For storage, I’d do what atrhur said. Just make sure it’s m.2 pcie.

I looked at some videos and it doesnt seem to difficult to open up. I will probably end up upgrading both storage and ram. No arguments necessary fellas! All love

Ideally you want 16gb for standard use, more over the frequency of the ram and its CAS timings play a big role when buying ram.
You want CAS 15-16 timing ram at 2400mhz frequency. Getting 32gb at 22CAS would actually hinder vs 16gb at 16CAS.
But sure buy w/e the fuck you want I mean its ur money its not like you came here asking for help.
