I just posted a build for someone with a $1500 budget that would more than do that. lol

here's a link: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=82035844&f=189&o=10

obviously remove the mouse, keyboard, speakers, and monitor.

He could change the case and fans if he wants. everything else is solid and would more than do what he needs it to.

should come out to a little over $1200 (depending on case and fans he chooses)

Also, if he changes the fans, make sure he chooses some with atleast 50cfm of displacement. idk if he cares about sound or not but anything below like 25db he's not gonna notice in a silent house.

if he wants the best pc he can get for $2k lmk and I can change everything around.

Thing is a 1500 build won't compete with a 2k+ build.
The gap in price with show the prebuilt on top in most cases but with shit tier parts.

Here's something you can show him so he can compare part by part so he can see how much is being wasted...

IF you convince him to go custom then comeback and we'll put something together for cheaper if he wants to.

The problem is he doesnt understand what he's buying. Basic consumer and has stubborn about stuff he doesnt know. So I'll show him this and if he doesnt wanna listen after I do a comparison then I'll just let him waste his money.
