Looking into getting a 1440p 144hz monitor soon but I think I need a little juice

I'm currently using : gigabyte 1070 ti gaming OC with an 8700k @ 4.7

was looking at the 5700 XT since there's a few on sale at CC but I was specifically looking at the gigabyte gaming OC version since gamers nexus did a review on it

just wondering if that's a good enough card for the monitor or if I should just wait

I would try the 1070ti with the new monitor and see how it does - I would think it should be enough to cap at the 144 fps on most games.

Agree with above.
And I think the amd cards only 25% better at best and u get to deal with shitty drivers.
