I am running an Asus P8Z68-V Mobo and my friend is giving me a geforce nvidia 1070 gfx card

are these compatible togethere?

idk if the Cpu matters but its a i7-26k

he built a new pc so he dont need it so hes giving it to me varry happy havent had a new gfx card in almost 10 years
