Wondering if it's worth upgrading this old PC.

OS: Windows 7
Motherboard: MEDIONPC MS-7616
CPU: Intel Core i3 530 @ 2.93GHz
Memory: 4GB DDR3 532MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 330 (MSI)
Storage: 2TB WD 3.5 sata hdd (shucked from an external hdd cause original died)

I will be giving away this PC to my little brother. Wondering if I could make some cheap improvements?

SSD? More RAM?

There is 2x2GB RAM installed and 2 slots open. Where can I find info how much the mobo supports?

Thoughts?

It says 8GB max on user benchmark. Does it mean max 8GB DDR3 or can I replace the current RAM with 8GB DDR4? Never build a PC before so this is probably a dumb question.

Thanks that site is useful.

So there are 4 slots each support 4GB max so 16GB total

Currently there's 2x 2GB and 2 open slots

Can I just plugin a single 4GB in an open slot so the total is 8GB? Or do they all need to be same size?

Germany so I'll check the german ***

Do you think it's worth upgrading ram, ssd and gpu?

Benchmark said the gpu was really bad for gaming.

The 1660 Ti vid card requires a 8 pin power supply lead, which you probably don't have. So stick with the 1050 Ti

I think you should just sell that comp to some old person who just wants to surf the web and check email.
