I'm looking for a laptop for schoolwork (mostly programming and computer science related things, lots of multitasking) that can also handle any kind of gaming titles I throw at it (it doesn't have to be insane running everything on max settings, I'm fine with running medium or even low as long as I'm not lagging out when gaming.)

My maximum price range is around $1,000.

I also want to be able to stream on twitch on top of all of this if this is possible.

Actually screw all of this -- I want a desktop instead and can just buy a laptop later on when I actually need to start bringing it to class in the future.

Yes, Build the best desktop your can, and buy something real ultra portable and cheap like a chromebook to take notes/ web browse on.
