looking for biggest bang for my buck

budgest is <$300

prefer 200 range. Im just looking to do multiboxing and smooth FPS like overwatch. nothing on high def or any trash like that.

So what I suggested still stand. May also want to invest into a 500gb ssd as well
The 2500k/2600k cpu you can grab from ebay or kijiji/craigs list or w.e your local trading site is.
Also before putting in a 580 be sure your psu has enough wattage.

Additionally your cpu is WAY to hot which would cause you cpu to throttle and cause it to run really slow.
You will need to reapply thermal paste and/or clean your pc.

appreciate that. didnt even think to look at that. itll need a good cleaning at the least.

is there any particular mobo or is the one i have fine? its been so lonig im am really outta touch with hardware

new mobo will warrant new ram/cpu.
I feel just going to a 2500k and maybe an oc should tie you over for your use just fine.

Is your current PC a custom built or an OEM? (Like Dell or hp or something)

Used i7 or bust (k model if overclock supported)
Rx580+ or equivalent

custom for 20+ D3 games, but it was mothballed til recently
