More specific use (what games, what programs): escape from tarkov,pubg,cs go

Do you need an Operating System?: nope
Do you have any specific preferred components?: prefer intel
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: prefer to have atleast have wireless built into mobo just incase i need it at some point but not entirely necessary
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: will prob just go w/ hyper 212
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no

have a case and an asus rog 6gb gtx 1060, aswell as a 256 gb samsung ssd from an old build
not sure of the best place for prices atm or what combo to get for best performance

Or if you can hold out a couple months, the next gen AMD might actually completely beat out Intel. You cant really afford Intel at that price point thi, youd have to cut other corners that would lower performance even more.

and thats with a 8700k which is close to the 9700k.
the amd chip though will handle multitasking/rendering/streaming better though.

idk tbh, theres 2 more cores and its still 5% increase but I guess people really like them some threads.

They the same for just gaming mostly, it's more like king said the extra threads are nice if you wanna stream or do video rendering.
