Hi, I am looking to upgrade my computer.

When I run some games, sometimes, it lags pretty noticeably (mostly when playing APEX).
I was also planning on upgrading to 120 hz / 144 hz from my 60 hz screen.

I either want to simply upgrade the card (maybe get a 1660) ; or something used, in the 200-300$ range.
The second option would be to get new motherboard, new cpu, and new gpu, in which case I'd have to up my budget to 900-1100$?.

Any recommendation? Should I just continue to play games on medium / low settings?

How much $ do you have to work with? Better off selling current pc and building a new one. 120/140 hz is a bit much as well.

i guess ultimately I could but maximum 2000-2200$ cad for a completely new computer, but if that's the case I think I'll wait a year or two because I still can play with the one i have atm

your video card might be descent what model is it exactly?

also lots of people have got descent gameplay with that cpu

/e but it does look like if you want an upgrade the whole computer would need it, ram, mobo, all of it pretty much.
