Trying to figure this out, so far I've formatted my USB to to FAT32, Partitioned it, and set the partition as active. Not sure what this did but I can say I believe I've accomplished that much >>

Downloaded the Windows 10 Media creation tool, but in Edition it only says windows 10, at setup does it give me the option for pro/home?

Also the setup gives me the option to install direct to the USB, or DL the ISO. Which is needed if i'm using this bootdrive on a new build without an os?

format usb again . (no partitions needed)
use the windows 10 creation tool.
use the install to usb option.
picking home/pro is done when installing.

If you still have issues, try using Rufus!
