i wont be able to use the sata slots when using the m.2 but this shouldn't really be an issue unless i decide to add something into the sata slots later, right? other than that how does everything look?

way better board for 5$,

Save up imo for a 2k 144hz panel. 1080p is dead now, your 2070 pairs better imo with a single 2k panel. Curved monitors are a joke.
Keyboard and mouse are more of a preference thing. If your not used to high end ones then I'm sure what you selected will work for you.

Lots of stuff do. After you build a couple, you'll just have boxes of misc hardware lying around (at least I do).

And?

had a hard time with the aio cooler. at first i assumed i needed to remove the stock amd bracket that came with the mobo. after realizing that i didn't need to take that off i had a hard time putting it back on. after installing the radiator and fan i realized they were too close to the cpu because there was too much tension on the tubing. so i uninstalled it and moved it over about 4 inches. all set. now i just need to align the preinstalled thermal paste and screw it in. well shit i put the brackets on upside down. they were a bitch to take back off but i finally managed to get it done. but wait something else is wrong. when i reinstalled the brackets to the mobo i put those back on backwards too.

long story short about 2 long and frustrating hours later i finally got the cooler installed correctly. being a noob sucks.
