Hi,

I am looking to build a new pc with a budget between $1300 - $1500 USD

I need everything besides HDD/SSD

Usage: Gaming/General use

Any advice on parts to use is greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

I like the second build more IMO.

Side note: I asked King Arthur to double check my own build so you can take his build to the bank :)

Thanks for all of the replies, really appreciate the help. I have acquired an extra $300 to put towards this

are there any alternatives to the ram listed in these posts? I cant get them from the store in Australia. Would 3200 be worth looking at?

Also would that board be suitable for OCing? or are there more suitable alternatives?

Is it important to follow the QVL of the motherboard when buying ram?

Also leaning towards an AIO cpu cooler as the temps where I live are nuts  would the h115i pro allow me to do this? Not hoping for a crazy OC but something decent would be nice

pccasegear.com is the website i've been using, umart.com.au is also popular but I think buying it all in the same spot would work out cheaper with the shipping costs. They don't have any 9700k on umart

my bro said I can have one of his 1080s for $300, should i take this offer instead and if so what should I get to go with that? If i take the offer then im back at the original budget but no longer need a gpu

9700k still?

maybe a case with good cooling and a better mobo/ram?

thanks :D
