z370 motherboard
idk the psu
64gigs of ram

Tried replacing the motherboard still doesn't work

What are the possible solutions.

I would assume the "idk psu" is at fault.

No info, have you tried anything?

so far i've changed the motherboard.

The psu worked just fine on my old pc.

Thats all i've done so far

moba/cpu/psu are used (previously by me and brother)


RAM/GPU are relatively new

I did some upgrades and my brother left the moba inside the box with no static bag so when we rebuilt it didnt boot and did that so we thought that would be the cause of the issue



I have installed the rams propely, i wouldnt know about the cpu fans my brother took care of plugging and wire management

Is it possible the computer isn't propely booting due to loose wires or would it just not boot?

and replug it in
sounds like a short
still happens
take out gpu try to boot it

Make sure the CPU fan wire(s) are plugged into the CPU_Fan and CPU_Opt, connectors on the motherboard. They should be located, just above the CPU.

Find the wattage of the power supply, you aren't going to power all that off some crummy 350 watt. If it pushes power to the Mobo, but you get no fans, and no post beeps, its your power supply. It is either improperly plugged in, or insufficient to power it all.

Open the case, take a picture, and show us, for further assistance.

If i remember correctly its a 600watts gold psu
