What is different between SSD and a regular hard-drive? What are the benefits? I hear it increases speed, but is it only increasing startup speed?? or for after starting with how programs run/etc?

for games the only increase is loading times, not fps. such as loading screens and item pop-ins

also ofc startup speed and apps, internet pages, etc.

but whatever u want faster must be installed on the ssd

iirc difference is ssd can just grab whatever file it needs where hdd has to look for it on a disk, so no wonder its so much faster

imo ssd is the way to go.. took my hdd out a while back because i got tired of it, once u switch to ssd its hard to go back
