Hi guys, i put this together. Got a budget of 1-1.5k EUR // 1.1-1.7k USD. Im missing extra cooling (which i was told isnt necessary, the ryzen cooling was enough?) And a case.

The mobo doesnt have WiFi build in, someone told me id better get one with WiFi.. any recommendations? Need one which goes hand in hand with the CPU

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
ASUS Prime X470-pro
Corsair vengeance LPX 2x8gb 3.2mhz
Samsung 970 EVO 250GB m.2 SSD
WD red 2tb HDD
Corsair RMx series RM750x (2018)
Gigabyte Radeon RX VEGA 56 GAMING OC 8G
ASUS drw dvd player/writer

Will be used for gaming mostly, video editting/rendering, photoshop..

Thanks in advance

yes the ryzen stock cooler is fine, but make sure u have a couple of fans in ur case aswell

dont go for wifi unless u need it.. wired is better

build looks good, but i would go with an nvidia gpu.. also new cpu's and gpu's is rumored to launch soon

Will get 2 frontal fans and 1 in the back.

Wired means ethernet right? If so i need WiFi for now. No option for ethernet. In the future i might have the option. Mobo has changed since i posted this.

And yeah im debating the GPU selection

Ryzen 2700x
MSI b450 gaming pro carbon ac
Corsair vengeance 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz
Corsair rm850x 80 plus gold
250gb SSD boot SATA
500gb SSD games SATA
2tb HDD 7200rpm SATA (wont be doing RAID for now)
Mastercase h500p probably (has 2 front fans included afaik)
GPU maybe used 1080ti, still not sure on that

Ty for replyîng :) been getting no love

yea that mobo looks good and it has wifi so u are all good, but yea ethernet is better

ryzen is about to launch their next cpus tho, so u might wanna wait, i wouldnt buy a 2700x right now

why did u change psu and storage? 850 psu is abit overkill, and m.2 would be better then sata

I wanted the best cpu. And im pretty impatient(spelling?), so my plan was to get the 2700x, and as soon as the new CPU's are available in Belgium, i would sell the 2700x with some "minor" loss and get the new one.

Not sure about the psu, is it a bad move?

M.2 would only be a little faster to copy n paste stuff right? Boot speed and game launch speed would be the same. Is it "noticeable" when im copying? Havent really read up on it, someone said its like 100mbit less. Ive been told the ssd are fast enough as they are and SATA is a a bit cheaper. Also less heat?

thoughts? Correct me if im wrong

no its not a bad move, the RM850 is nice.. but so is m.2.. depends on the drive ofc, some m.2 is sata speed and others is nvme... but the best thing imo is no cables, especially nice if u have a modular psu
