I almost caved in and bought a cyberpower pc on sale for $700 at Best Buy as a Black Friday deal. It was originally $950. But forgot about this handy site and awesome people that could help me build a pc. So I’m looking to build my first desktop pc ever.
I’m in the $500 range. Can spend a little more if needed.
Mainly looking for a tower that I can play very basic FPS such as Overwatch on ultra/epic settings. I will be upgrading this PC a lot so I’m okay with starting off simple as I learn.
Can anyone throw something together on pcpartpicker for 500-600? Or just suggest certain items/parts?
Thanks.

Thanks that’s a couple hundred over what I’m trying to start off with. But looks nice.

GPU is easy swap when you decide to get something high end.
New CPUs for that socket out next summer, would be optimal time to upgrade that.
You probably won't be able to max Overwatch and maintain steady frames, but at just high settings it'll be fine.

That’s more towards my budget definitely. I was aimingtowards intel. I may go ahead and start off with this. I can always upgrade in weeks time.

Intel isn't really worth it until you're ready to spend over $250 on the CPU alone. In a build like this, it's not going to be your bottleneck.

If i were you, I'd just put another 50-100 away a week for 2 more months then come back with a bigger budget.

I thought about this, wait until I save up at least 800-1000.

Tbh that'd be your better choice.
I dont see you profiting from making a shit build then upgrading what you're going to need in the future.
