Looking at playing mostly BFV and some WoW/D3 one monitor no streaming, been debating on getting a new computer for a while

for price point this seems to be the least expensive build that will run BFV easily and well according to reviews
i know literally nothing about freesync gsync monitors etc.. and haven't bought an amd product in a long long time
ryzen 5 2600x / vega 64 (approx $1250 CAD) asus rog gpu/mobo and was looking at a 31.5" asus rog curved freesync 2560x1440 144hz monitor

or spend more;
i5-8600k / 1080 (approx (approx $1365 CAD)
i7-8700k / 2080 (approx $1900 CAD)

so you dont understand
the basics of computers

1440p at 144hz
requires you to have
above 144fps at all times
or you wont be at 144hz

89avrg fps=dips to 60 maybe upto 120
so effectively thats 60hz gaming
=shit

If you turn in DXR, that number will cut in half.

even the mighty rtx 2080 getting like 30 fps 1080p in tomb raider with ray tracing, it's a garbage meme. Imagine being the kind of person who was also probably calling amd trash because of hairworks.
