Looking for recommendations on a laptop. Will be used primarily for modeling and simulation software's, matlab, and streaming.

Open to desktops also. My only requirement is the red hat linux operating system. If a desktop is built, I don't need a screen.

Is 500 enough for a non gaming rig? If not I'm open to more.

If you're not doing anything that utilizes a GFX card, this will be plenty. Otherwise you probably gonna wanna spend more.
