I really need an epic desktop tower where I can get the highest possible FPS playing fortnite. If you guys think I can get what I need for less than $1000 I would be happy, but I can spend it if I need to. I would like it to be really sexy looking with some cool LEDs if possible but performance comes before aesthetics. If you guys think that I could build what I need to rock fortnite at the highest settings for $750 I'm all for it! Just please help me find what I need! I read that I need at least a gtx 1070. I heard that anything worse is not worth it. I don't think I could afford, or even really need the 1080. I don't know enough about computers to do this myself though. Help is greatly appreciated :)

I will be unlocked soon and will donate a little fg to whoever builds the best tower that I end up buying! Cheers gentleman.

My current desktop is (don't laugh) Hp envy series 8 model number h8-1534

I noticed under specs that it said this:
Integrated graphics are not available on this motherboard.
A graphics card can be placed in the PCI Express x16 slot

Does this mean I cant buy like a gtx 1070 or 1080 and make the graphics on my current computer awesome?

I know my computer is old, it's like 7 years old. I bought it from best buy. I didn't build it myself and remember buying a graphic card upgrade at the same time but not being able to ever figure out how to install it.

My computer could handle playing Diablo III with no real issues, but when it comes to games like Fortnite, I would have no shot. I know this because I downloaded H1Z1 a little over a year ago and it was so laggy and just graphically ugly that it was not fun.

Is it possible to upgrade my current computer or do I need to start from scratch?

u got PCI Express x16 slot so yeah that's where a graphic card would go.

you could try to just buy a 1070 for now and see how the performance is before thinking about upgrading your cpu (fx-6200).

How is everything else with my computer? Like the statistics? I really know very little. I think I will do this though. What if I went 1080? Would that make a difference? Or 1070ti?

Sorry for double post I can not edit. What if I buy the graphics card and then I upgrade to this processor https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-7600-Quad-core-Processor/dp/B06XQ4KP9J

Would it be worth it? What else would I need to upgrade? Would this do a lot for me?

u need to start from scratch..

a 7 year old hp will bottleneck a 1070 or 1080.. and it probably dont have a good enough psu

and do not buy i5-7600, that is last gen.. look for i5-8400 instead

something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TCsHpG

Thank you for doing this. Could I get away with a gtx 1070 and have it be nearly as good or do I really want to splurge on gfx card to get best FPS and performance?

That processor will be powerful enough? ya think?

When its all in the case will there be any LEDs or anything like that? I want it to look cool.

depends on what resolution and fps u want, but yea imo 1070 should be more then enough for fortnite.. u can also save some money on ssd if u dont need 500gb

yes the 8400 is more then good enough

yes the motherboard have red led light and the rog strix gpu have RBG, u can get RBG ram, mobo and fans aswell if u wanna go all in

If you're only playing at 1080p60fps, a GTX 1060 will be fine, but the better gpu you get, the longer you will be able to go before you need another upgrade.
